If your ext2 parition is too small, you will need to reformat it and recreate parition. So move you app back to phone first (uninstall some apps if you don't have enough space), recreate you ext2 partition bigger, move apps to SD card, reinstall missing apps.

If you want to restore your apks back to phone and you don't have enough space to restore, you have to uninstall some apps. Storage on phone is limited.

To be honest I have not well understood what you exactly want to do.
