Guest nick w
Right, i have rooted and updated my desire to a stock 2.1 firmware. it was easy. But now i want Froyo on. I have followed the instructions, downloaded, chucked it on to both my 4gb micro card and my 1gb gold card but it wont intstall. I get the error while in recovery verifying update package... E: signature verification failed Installation aborted I also cant see Nandroid. The only way i could back up was to download the ClockWorkRom Manager. Which i have now performed. Even through that i was unable to install Froyo. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Guest gsnares
You need to put a small update.zip in the root of the sd. I will find it and post a link for you. Or you need an unsigned rom through clockwork. What does it say when you try to install rom through rom manager? What Rom are you trying to install please (link if you can) thanks Edited August 17, 2010 by gsnares
