Help! Bricked phone

I installed r8 on my rooted(clockworkmod) Telus HTC Desire and the after it finished the phone hung on the HTC boot logo. I waited 30 minuted and when nothing happened I figured I would just recover my nandroid image.

Unfortunately I cannot boot into recovery mode. It boots into HBOOT but when I select recovery the HTC screen comes up and if stays there.

Based on the info I see in HBOOT the -20 radio seems to have installed.

This just happened to me today as well.

Turn off phone.

Take SD card out

Put in SD card reader

http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...e-without-a-pc/ - put update.zip from here on the sdcard

Follow the instructions in 1st post on that topic

reload your backup.
