Guest Daz555 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Remove widgets that are memory hungry. Remove any applications that keep running even if you close them. My phone has, on average, 25MB free memory. The lowest I've seen it go is 19/20MB and max has been 29MB. Currently I have 26,840K (about 26MB) free. I use OSMonitor to check (as suggested by Paul. It has the ability to kill processes also!) This is what I find a little odd. My free memory on v2.1 is usually about 26 to 32MB. Yet when I was running v1.5 (MCR 1.8) it was far lower (usually less than 20MB). Why is it then that it is v2.1 that seems to have memory problems?
Guest igor_anta Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 So still no answer from T-Mob UK about removing the update? I really look forward to another waiting period :D
Guest -Wii- Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 So still no answer from T-Mob UK about removing the update? I didn't record that conversation so I can't prove it and take them to court but that's what I was told by an Engineer not a CSA

Like I said, oh the wait :D
Guest Simon O Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Well I got the following message this morning: TmobileUKhelp Hi Simon, we will put out a public tweet as soon as we have more info. about 5 hours ago Make of it what you will. If they removed it by accident then surely they would have just said so. I think there was something wrong with the update. I hope I'm wrong though.
Guest eager_b Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I posted this a little while ago - it looks like it's an appropriate time to repeat it: Hi all, Since T-Mobile UK no longer have the Pulse December 1.5 update on their site, I've put it in my public Dropbox folder for anyone who needs to get a copy. (I've also put the July 2.1 update there as well, though that's still available for T-Mobile of course.) December 1.5 update July 2.1 update In return, if anyone hasn't yet joined Dropbox and wants to, can I ask you please to join using my referral link below - which will get both me and you an extra 250MB of free space: https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTI0NzgzNjk Thanks! Oh, and thanks to those who did use the referral link, it's much appreciated.
