i wonder if they are beginning to roll out the update, but obviously the 2.1 update changed the path..

I tried to capture the exact link the 4399 rom sends you to when you do settings/about device/software upgrade (before it changes to the "Youre on the latest version" page) but never did..

we could do with that link...

should be possible for someone on 1.6 using adb logcat, I@m on 2.1update1 so have the zingstaging as well..

in theory its in the rom. But grepping it from a zip of the 4399 build revealed nothing

That's not 2.1.

It's 1.6. It's not an update. it's the same old stuff we've had since july.

Again. Someone has made a mistake. There's no update on a server. If there was. Someone would have grabbed it.
