Hi Guys (Salutes Paul),

I thought I'd load MoDaCo's Froyo ROM onto my device (already rooted and was running this ROM. Lately, it has been playing up so I thought it was time to load Froyo.

I've just paid my subscription to MoDaCo and baked myself a custom ROM. I loaded my custom ROM on to my SD card and then booted in Recovery mode holding the back button and going to Recovery > Android System Recovery mode (where words are blue/after the red triangle and exclamation mark).

I did a Wipe Data/Factory Reset and now I can't boot up and keeps looping at 'quietly brilliant' window.

I rooted my phone and uploaded a Customer ROM a while ago and have forgotten how to load a new ROM. Been going through all the how to's, but none of them seems to help. I thought somewhere in the Recovery menu was an option to load a new ROM.

I even had a look at Fake-flash, didn't make sense to me.

Huffff.... can someone guide me please. :D

Thanks heaps!

I'm downloading this one. Telstra ROM from HTC... you think this can restore my "rooted" phone? Just to get it up and running for now. Running this, does the phone need to be on as in booted up into OS or will it be done from Recovery mode?

Thanking you in advance.

OK... I've fixed it with the Telstra ROM from HTC. Up and running now so I'm going to try and install the MoDaCo ROM that I baked earlier on.

That ROM you're going to get will put you back to stock (unrooted). You'll then need to root again...

Oops... I'll root again tonight when I get home. Thanks for the heads up! At least I've got my phone working again to get me home and do some work on the way home.

I shall post again if I have any problems once again. This is a good community in helping.

Cheers!
