Guest bouboule Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 (edited) URGENT This night i received a SMS telling me that if i don't reinitialize my mobile my IMEI number will be deleted (from what ?) in 24 hours ! i don't understand this at all. i use Gary Crutcher JE3 Rom and flash very often A 2nd SMS ask me to change the phone number that stays inside the phone and is used in case of thief or lost of the mobile. Ask me to change this in the SECURITY menu ......... but i don't have security menu in my phone. And don't know this phone number Now i stay hospital and very need my phone. I answer to the first SMS and the 2nd ask me to enter a new phone number in the SECURITY menu (???????? where is this menu ?) If it was a spam do they answer my question ?

If it was a spam do they answer my question ? u should call your service provider about this matter. i don't know how they do in europe, but herer in the states, it will never happen at least i have never heard about. how long have you been using your phone? where did u buy your phone? IMEI could be on the blacklist. but u do need to contact them directly.

They that there is a function that allow to follow the phone everywhere. They say that i must go to Samsung official store .. but i cannot move Or disconnect this function by myself ... but i don't know how. i bought this one second hand 4 months ago and i think the owner before activated it. it shoud be with samsung menu like #* i think !
