Guest lucier
You have to do a foctory wipe. Be carreful because I ahve problem (I will create a topic  ) When I install my customize ROM (r8) without a "wipe data/factory" I see AdFree and TitaniumBackup but I can't send MMS (SMS is OK); but when I do a wipe Ican send MMS but I lost several programs like AdFree, Titanium, maybe other. I reply to myself. After installing a new ROM, I don't make a "wipe factory". To fixxthe MMS problem, I just have to check my APN and change it to the correct one (BouyguesTelecom choose pro network by default  ). Guest spammyspam
Apparently it's best to wipe before flashing a rom. Presumably installing the ROM also installs something to the user bits.
