Guest achugar Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 Yes, but also JC2(6.5) have great Touch Player from 6.5.3. The JC2 touch player version has the volume slider like 6.5.3 ROMS?? (i mean the dots between numbers in the volume slider) thanks
Guest GunnarKarlsson Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 The JC2 touch player version has the volume slider like 6.5.3 ROMS?? (i mean the dots between numbers in the volume slider) thanks What I have found is that the volume control is separate from the touch player, I have added a cab for the "new" volume control one but I don't know if it works. please try it, could be found in the following thread http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...etween-numbers/ //Gunnar
Guest johnchua55 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 there are differences ..... i dunno what version of touchplayer but most of them you need playerautoupdate to add media to now playing. but the version i kept .... has an option for folder view where u can manually add files to your playlist.
Guest redzone321 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 currently im use je3 whihc has the newer look (3.5.x look) and the scrolling seems faster then the standard 6.5 versions.
Guest bmt10 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 All I know is that your i800 version is immensely better than the one they threw on the i920, no idea which specific version was ported over and it doesn't have the dots in the samsung volume control but I never use it anyways, I use iponetoday as a launcher mapped to my middle button and set up buttons there to control volume up/down by 5% each press, opens a lot faster than the actual volume control.

Guest bmt10 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 (edited) Thanks i will post the results oif this (not now becouse i have 6.5.3 installed) I had use iphonetoday, but do you say that you can map a botton for the volume form iphone today?? The default volume button they have increases your volume by 10% each press, this is controlled by the execute line when you go to edit the icon: --volume++10 The number specifies the percent it adjusts the volume by and if you change the second + to - it will decrease volume instead. The two on mine are --volume+-5 and --volume++5, I actually have 3 buttons for volume I kept the default button which shows the current volume with changing icons and put the custom + and - on both sides of it. Ok i have tested what you posted and it working but i have a question: it is possible to map that volume button to a real fisical button?

You can manually set the volume buttons with a program and it should disable the samsung volume control from opening and instead use the windows one, or at least that's what it did when I set them in AEbutton. But I don't know of any way to adjust the amount that it changes the volume by and it will still be 20%, there is probably a registry setting for that but I could not find it. You could also use a third party program like volumex but that's not free and is only a 10 day demo. Edited August 26, 2010 by bmt10

I also has been searching for a registry tweek for that but i didnt find any.
