i8000 ROM's

I am new to Omnia II and have some questions regarding custom ROM's

I have Bell Mobility Omnia II, i8000 (GSM device for North America)

I am used to HTC ROM's, have used many Energy ROM's on previous HTC Tilt 2.

Questions:

Do you need a hard SPL on Omnia II to unlock?

Are there any ROM's that have the Samsung TouchWiz/Widget environments?

Are the Omnia i8000 ROM full of useful widgets?

How stable are i8000 ROM's, the HTC one's were OK, not alway 100% stable?

Is there a link for a novice to review on how Omnia II ROM's work?

No.

Yes, the unmodified ROMs (like http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...t-kingmobi-net/ )

Are the Omnia i8000 ROM full of useful widgets?

This is kinda subjective. In my opinion, although some widgets are useful, the TouchWiz is laggy and isn't worth having. As far as stability you'd have to read the opinions of the users that tried that ROM, but as far as I can tell you most ROMs are pretty stable (depends on what other programs you have running on them). So just give them a try! The good news is that there are plenty of ROMs around.
