Questions About My New Omnia II

Hi guy! This is my first post here :huh:

I've some questions about my omnia i8000.

1st -

I'm trying to play Pokemon using the morphgear, i open the application and start the rom but the screen is VEEERY small and the virtual d-pad too. What should i do to fix it? There's another emulator to use? Someone tried to play and happened the same?

2nd -

My WI-FI connect but doesn't work! I can use the internet, open websites..this king of things.

Please, help me guys!

huh? your wifi connects but doesnt work? AND you can use internet/surf the net etc.. how is that doesnt work??

For morphgear screen size go to your settings (depends on which emulator you are using for the game to play on) , and change the screen size to auto.

For the controller you can search for it on xda or youtube, the only thing you can do about the controller is change the skin. I found a skin on xda i think and i used it for pokemon games and it worked find. you can always create your own skins (googles how to). I uploaded the skin i used. I removed morphgear from my phone but i remember you had to go to (?)windows/morphgear/skins(?) or something like that..im not sure how to get to the skins directory but i know thats where it belongs. Put it in Morphgear/skins. (just do a search in the directory at the top for morphgear, and the open the skins folder).Also I had a .txt file, i just threw that in the same folder as the 1 i put the picture in. Anyways after you put it there just go back to morphgear settings and change the keyboard skin.

Note* you have to use the small windows mobile keyboard that has the arrows (or any keyboard that has arrows on it) to select anything from a drop down menu in morphgear. For some reason it never works just selecting it. Just use the arrows to scroll throught the drop down menus and hit enter. good luck.

As for the wifi I had a similar problem..my wifi disappeared from my wireless manager and every time i tried to connect to it via samsung settings it connected but as soon as i closed it, the wifi disconnected. Also my 3G was still working perfectly. I asked for help on this forum and someone uploaded a .cab for me ( i also included it in this post) and it did the trick (temporarily) for me. Its called wifiprofiles. Install it to your storage and open it up from the start menu. You will get a bunch of options, 1 in particular,DHCP is set to no. Set it to yes by pressing on it. Then open the actions menu and press on save profile. This prevents you from having to set the DHCP to yes again for future reasons. Click apply profile (i usually press it twice because it never worked when i pressed it once, dont know why) and close the window and connect to wifi and it should work.

Note* that every time you turn on your phone and you want to use your wifi, you need to go back to wifiprofiles and hit apply profile and make sure the DHCP is set to yet. Good luck!
