Once again browsing my registry and I've come across something that may be the light level control for the stock lock screen?

I went here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > ControlPanel > BackLight > LockLevel

And this is what I see in that menu using PHM Registry Editor:

ACBacklightOnTap 1 (0X0000001)

ACTimeout 60 (0X00003C)

ACTimeoutUnchecked 0 (00000000)

ALCMode 0 (00000000)

BackLightOnTap 1 (0X000001)

BatteryTimeout 60 (0X00003C)

BatteryTimeoutUnchecked 0 (00000000)

Brightness 12 (0X00000C)

My understanding of these things are very limited, so I'm wondering if this is a page that could fix the dim lighting on the lock screen?? If so, what would I adjust? Brightness?

Hi

quick answer, no.

There you can just modify the "backlight" behavior of the phone while unlocked.

Good luck!

There is a key for phone locked, but every time you modiy it and you lock the device, the key will return to default mode, so it is needed a programm not a simply reg key

Yeah I figured it was too easy to be real... and again I probably wasn't the first to come across that item.

Thanks a lot guys.

*sheepishly hangs my head and walks out of thread...*
