Guest Echo30 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Once again browsing my registry and I've come across something that may be the light level control for the stock lock screen? I went here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > ControlPanel > BackLight > LockLevel And this is what I see in that menu using PHM Registry Editor: ACBacklightOnTap 1 (0X0000001) ACTimeout 60 (0X00003C) ACTimeoutUnchecked 0 (00000000) ALCMode 0 (00000000) BackLightOnTap 1 (0X000001) BatteryTimeout 60 (0X00003C) BatteryTimeoutUnchecked 0 (00000000) Brightness 12 (0X00000C) My understanding of these things are very limited, so I'm wondering if this is a page that could fix the dim lighting on the lock screen?? If so, what would I adjust? Brightness?
Guest GunnarKarlsson Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Hi quick answer, no. There you can just modify the "backlight" behavior of the phone while unlocked. Good luck!
Guest Apocalysse Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 There is a key for phone locked, but every time you modiy it and you lock the device, the key will return to default mode, so it is needed a programm not a simply reg key
Guest Echo30 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Yeah I figured it was too easy to be real... and again I probably wasn't the first to come across that item. Thanks a lot guys. *sheepishly hangs my head and walks out of thread...*
