Guest navin-shetty Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 To all the Samsung Omnia 2 users in Middle East, I have a good news for them, Since I bought Omnia 2 in Dec 09, i never tried of custom ROM. I was thinking to upgrade to official 6.5 and if its not good then i will go for some custom ROM. But in Samsung mobiles ME website never showed of upgrade of Omnia 2. But I was keep contacting Samsung customer regarding the upgrade. I never get reply for my almost 6-7 mails, but today evening all of sudden i received a mail from Samsung CC saying the upgrade to WinMo 6.5 is now available in ME, but it only can be done from the Authorized dealer. Im from Bahrain so they mentioned BIN Hindi Informatics in Exhibition Avenue is the one who provides upgrade. If you stay in Dubai then EROS Electrical is your friend Smiley So I thought i will share this information with all who looking for official upgrade in ME.
