Confused

Hi as an absolute novice , I am becoming very confused re updates/upgrades for Pulse.

I only purchased my phone last week and installed the Dec 09 update from T-mobile site. Is this Dec update the update to Android 2.1 or not ?

When I check phone info, it still shows firmware version 1.5.

I now read that T-mobile have pulled the 2.1 update and advise to revert back to 1.5.

How do I know what version I now have on my phone ?? Do I have to do anything ?

I wasn't expecting all this confusion when I purchased the phone.
