Guest Paul Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Paul I think youve commented previously that you werent planning to release an odexed rom due to their being no real difference in performance but from what I can gather I will get around 40-50 extra mb internal space with an odexed rom so is there any chance of you releasing that version? I just cant fit my apps into 87mb and with a2sd being buggy I cant risk using it After the first reboot? P

Guest inigoml Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Just baked r9 lastnight and flashed this morning, has anyone had any luck with getting CIFS to work? I can connect to my shares in Estrongs file manager ok but CIFS fails to mount them.. Thanks for a great ROM Paul. No problem mounting shares via cifsmanager or console.

Guest KingDan Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Hi Paul, I'm not quite sure if it's a ROM problem but there was a time I was trying to take a picture and half the screen turned pink / purple. It went away and didn't return since I backed out and re-entered the camera app. Will Swype be added to the kitchen? What about the W7 nexus style boot screen? I think adobe flash has an update which updated nicely. (good job Paul).

I think adobe flash has an update which updated nicely. (good job Paul). I had this (once only) on a stock Telstra/HTC ROM just after purchasing the phone. I don't think it's related to a particular ROM - seems to be one of those weird random funnies (saw a few people mention it on other threads but didn't seem too pervasive and I've personally not seen it again)
Guest loakyj Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 works here i use cifs manager to connect (adjust droidwall if enabled! otherwise it wont connect) and root manager to browse copy move etc btw: check lsmod, and only root can mount One of those wood for the trees moments, when I read the Droidwall bit I automatically thought I hadn't touched it since i'd installed CIFS Manager! Works a treat now i've tinkered with Droidwall so thanks a lot for that. :P
