Guest dunbad Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 OK peeps, keep the suggestions coming! Building up the list of what to work on. :P P Said as if you had no idea of exactly what your gonna do! Brilliant. As has been said, a way of somehow saving selections made from the kitchen would be good. Thanks.
Guest ElDiablo77 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) I'd like it if the keyboard zoomed in & out like it did on the r21 Nexus port. Oh & after 1 rom flash my LED was blue & purple which sets it apart from other fones. Any way 2 get this in custom roms? Edited September 7, 2010 by ElDiablo77
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 I'm gonna remove Gmail 2.2 and replace it with 2.2.1 for all builds... any objections? P
Guest bas-r Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 What I would like to see is the Power Control widget from Cyonagen, or preferrably from OpenDesire. Adds some very useful functionality.
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 It's like this one right? http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.siriusappl...s.eclairwidgets P
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Updated radio to 32.47.00.32_5.10.05.23 (with the additional RIL bits from sub501, thanks!) Gmail 2.2.1 is now included as standard. P
Guest Grobie Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 how often do you want to reboot today? ;-) there are at least 2 apps in the market that provide a widget for that an even more functionality, for free or 1$ - without that heavy modifications to htc framework Always looking for new ways of doing things. :P Currently using Quick boot that is very nice. Grobie
Guest le_lutin Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 It's like this one right? P Which one? There was no link in your post.

Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Added Sub501's governor optimisations as an option in the kitchen. P
Guest snapilica Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Added Sub501's governor optimisations as an option in the kitchen. P Great! You can also check out THIS while on the topic of power optimisations :P
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Does undervolting REALLY save battery? I've used it quite extensively and really seen little benefit... P
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 So these are the default battery indicator states... <level-list xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_0" android:maxLevel="4" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_10" android:maxLevel="14" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_20" android:maxLevel="29" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_40" android:maxLevel="49" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_60" android:maxLevel="69" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_80" android:maxLevel="89" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_100" android:maxLevel="100" /> </level-list>[/code] Strange! P
Guest Shiva Ramabadran Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 So these are the default battery indicator states... <level-list xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_0" android:maxLevel="4" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_10" android:maxLevel="14" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_20" android:maxLevel="29" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_40" android:maxLevel="49" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_60" android:maxLevel="69" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_80" android:maxLevel="89" /> <item android:drawable="@drawable/stat_sys_battery_100" android:maxLevel="100" /> </level-list> Strange! P Indeed Strange. Perhaps they intended it to have the graphic switch when halfway thru the appropriate range. (i.e. it goes to 80% indicator when it falls below 90, and 60% indicator when it falls below 70, etc.
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 The question is, how to change it? Shall I add graphics for every 5%? P
Guest Tomdibom Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Paul, you might want to add the hint to disable perflock when checking Sub501's governor settings as he states "WARNING : The 'disable perflock' must be checked in your kitchen".
Guest Shiva Ramabadran Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 The question is, how to change it? Shall I add graphics for every 5%? P I would think that should satisfy all but the extreme battery watcher/measurer. +1 from me.

That automatically gets put in with that option. :P P
Guest ascot17 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Hi Paul, Hadn't realised that there was an update in the system. The title of the post still has the original 3 Sep posting date.....
Guest Noonski Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Yeah, this would be useful, keep the stock look but have more granularity... P This one kind of fits that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733682
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Yeah, that looks nice, i'm not a fan of the %age tho. :P I've made images that change every 4%... P
Guest western Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 The modded Hi-Res 3D-Gallery would be a nice choice. Have to flash it always separatly. It brings a really better Resolution than the standard Gallery3D. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7662728
Guest Paul Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Oooh, the smooth icons are nice. I wonder if jercik would mind me making a non-percentage version? P
Guest dareal Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 just flashed the new, updated r9 from r8 rc1. the new r9 is working like a charm! thanks again Paul!
