can i replace the orange windows startup screen?

i have replaced the oem start up screen poweron.gif but i cannot find where the orange windows screen is that comes after.

is it a replaceable gif or other image file?

any help would be appreciated.

replace windowsscreen (i like the ones used by shadow on is roms)

if you are using some of the cooked roms or ultralite roms then the files may be not cooked..... i assume that you have already got them... then look for the power_on.gif file in windows folder of your device.... you can replace it with any gif file( some duration time and sound time has to be maintained) but have to name them same and over write it.... you will also find a file name power_off.gif... do the same for it.... just rename the file you like to power_off\on.gif and overwrite them in windows folder....

Rapid has a cool power on off file..... just beautiful( only the power on)..... can be found in his sense 2.5 thread.... just look for it in i8000 cooked roms forum...
