Guest Master_T Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 You did a Titanium Backup full restore right? I had the same issue. Rebooted to recovery and did a factory reset for now. Indeed... any ideas on which particular restore operation causes that? I guess restoring contacts/messages/etc... I'll try to only restore apps now.
Guest tc4101 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 You could always replace the Stream UI with an Home Launcher alternative, like LauncherPro or ADWLauncher.\ i am using laucher pro, but the previous notification menu, clock etx is always at the bottom now. anyway to change that? or at least have the notifications like vanilla
Guest Liquidini Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 I know this sounds stupid, but I'm thinking of trying to flash the Nexus One version of CyanogenMod 6 over this new bin, just to see how it works. i thinked about it too but i let you do it first :) :( :P
Guest tc4101 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 and now how do i mount my SD card?
Guest Andy__P Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 i am using laucher pro, but the previous notification menu, clock etx is always at the bottom now. anyway to change that? or at least have the notifications like vanilla settings - applications - user interface
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) i am using laucher pro, but the previous notification menu, clock etx is always at the bottom now. anyway to change that? or at least have the notifications like vanilla Go into Settings > Applications, and there'll be an option at the bottom to choose the UI. The default is Acer, but selecting Android will put the notification bar back to the top of the screen. EDIT: Andy__P beat me to it. :P Edited September 7, 2010 by Delnar_Ersike
Guest tc4101 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 settings - applications - user interface hahhahahah sweet
Guest tc4101 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) anyone have problem install the malez by the exe file ? i enabled debuggin mode and unknow sources Edited September 7, 2010 by tc4101
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 anyone have problem install the malez by the exe file ? Yeah, after the install completed, the device shut down for me. However, after removing the USB cable and the battery, then reinserting the battery, I was able to successfully boot into both the normal OS and Malez Recovery. Only issues I've encountered so far with Malez Recovery is that the root methods don't work and it keeps complaining that it cannot mount or open CACHE:recovery/log

Guest bais Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 This bin is nice, the speed is there, everything works fine. But I just can't login to the MsgExpress app, I open it, choose Twitter, enter my Login and Password and try to connect but I get the same error everytiem. "Please check your Login or Password". I'm sure I didn't do any mistake while entering the login and password, since it worked on Twitter website and official app.
Guest kenchitech Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately, the below link isn't available in my country it says... May I ask the file located in the given link is FLASH 10.1 or later verson??? I had FLASH 10.1 in my PC... will it be compatible to Froyo??? Flash Player here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1P8R3PDK . Guest apecross Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 the problem of the wrong login on twitter is because they changed recently the autentication protocol, so this app problably is not compatible with the new login!
Guest Ximo F. Verde Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Ive been testing this ROM for a couple of hours now. Its fast, definetely faster than stock 2.1 (at least in my eyes), havent checked tither but others did and found it functioning, flash works fine (video at least). for guys like me that are.. hheemm stuck-on-stock, i would definetely recommend it.
