Guest HAL_9000 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Manila is Touch Flo(now Sense if you want). Its a graphic extension. Manila is also capital city of Philippines. And HTC(witch developed this) is from Taiwan. And this is quite near. :P

Don't know what inspired HTC to use that though. Apparently, other manufacturer codenames are also unique. E.g. Windows Whistler -> Windows XP, Windows Longhorn -> Vista etc.
