why is it called Manila?

Juz wondering why the name "Manila" commonly seen mentioned in the omnia2 rom discussion thread? hmmm... why? :P

Manila is Touch Flo(now Sense if you want). Its a graphic extension.

Manila is also capital city of Philippines. And HTC(witch developed this) is from Taiwan. And this is quite near. :P

Anyway, "Manila" is just a developement codename for TouchFLO. Don't know what inspired HTC to use that though. Apparently, other manufacturer codenames are also unique.

E.g. Windows Whistler -> Windows XP, Windows Longhorn -> Vista etc.
