Unlike the HD2, which has five buttons, the HD3 has only three. Its features make it a strong competitor to other smartphones, including the iPhone 4, Droid X, EVO 4G, and Nokia 8. How is a HTC phone a successor to a samsung one?

Any handset can be a successor if the starting comparison point is the O2.

I remind you that the O3 has already been designated and assigned to verizon & winmo7, however the hardware stats are under wraps. I used the HTC reference in the post only to illuminate what Samsung must be prepared to compete with.

Interestingly, Nokia (today's news online) is rumored to be favoring adopting winmo7 not surprisingly that the new CEO is from Microsoft.

- My humble opinion is that the O3, or O4 will be closely similar to the HTC referenced here.
