Guest wicked.ludicrous Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 I was about to do the registry tweak to disable the Samsung Dialer on my i920, but read that it also disables MMS. Is there a work-around to this?

Guest urphonesux Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 but disabling the samsung dialer makes your send call hardware button useless
Guest avantgarde280 Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 but disabling the samsung dialer makes your send call hardware button useless are u sure about that?why mine working? :P
Guest wicked.ludicrous Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Actually, I'm having problems with the answering screen when you receive a call. Is that part of Samsung Dialer? I've got S2U2 and would like to use S2A. I've tried getting S2A to work without the Samsung Screen coming up, but to no avail

S2u2 incoming call problem
Guest wicked.ludicrous Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 I looked at it and tried changing my mode to buffer, but it's worse, with a bunch of glitching when I receive a call. S2A does come up, but it glitches like mad and the Windows skin is literally underneath it. if I press on the screen, a button from the Windows Skin comes up I think I'm just going to do the registry tweak
Guest urphonesux Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 my bad I was going off the old yardi4life roms that killed the send button oops
Guest wicked.ludicrous Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 my bad I was going off the old yardi4life roms that killed the send button oops But I've read that disabling the Samsung Dialer makes the left phone button useless. Or am i wrong? Just to make sure, doing the exact opposite for disabling the Samsung dialer would enable it, right?
Guest geebox Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 (edited) But I've read that disabling the Samsung Dialer makes the left phone button useless. Or am i wrong? Just to make sure, doing the exact opposite for disabling the Samsung dialer would enable it, right? Yes you are correct. I just tried disabling the samsung dialer then re-enabling it. I ended up going back to the original Samsung dialer, because as stated above it disables MMS and the left hardware send key. Edited September 14, 2010 by geebox
