Flashing Help

Hey Guys,

I'm currently running LCR 1.8.0.1, and would like to upgrade to the 2.2 leak. How can I do this? I downloaded the .bin file from the thread in the forum. Can I flash it using QuickBoot bootloader? Or do I need to use the official acer flashing tool?

If I use the acer flashing tool, Is there anything I need to check so I don't break my phone into a constant reboot loop?

1.run adt as administrator

2.browse bin img

3. connect ur phone

4. start flashing

5. take a coffee

6. return and get new flashed phone

the most important passage is number 5 since u don't have to touch ur phone

Yes, it will wipe malez recovery and leave you with the standard android recovery. You will need to reflash malez recovery.
