Wich official rom should I use before flashing this?

I'm on the december update now, and I think a 2.1 is needed.

If so, does anyone have the direct link for the uk version since it was removed from their site?

I have the Hungarian... Froyo works fine so far :)

(Even though my battery drains too fast - stopped charging at 8:10AM and now (~10 hours later) it's down to 20% :( Usually with same usage it is at 50-60% :P Might be caused by the new widget: Sense Analog Clock?!)

Just so you guys know, I'm going to edit this so that it's easier to read and stuff. Update everything and see how that works out. I'll just be unavailable till then. And I'll make a backup of the post in case I annoy a Mod and he/she edits my posts to say

2.2 v 0.51 installed on my U8230 Bouygues phone (fr)

-> Good : :)

- Very stable (no crash, no FC, no reboots...)

- Phone is ok

- GPS, compass is ok

- Wifi seems to be ok

- ActiveSync works great (meeting request...)

-> Bad: :lol:

-for 3G, i've done the chmod (netcfg) command... and i've set manually the Good APN (a2bouygtel.com) ->OK

- i've installed the market via the gapps zip file... but it seems the market doesn't have all apps (i can find facebook app for example...) why?

- No Camera...

The Market Fix is in the second post also. It takes a while though.

Is 3G actually working or are you just unhappy about needing a command?

comment as tu installer cette rom et vaut elle le coup ?

question: how can i change the "red-button" to not turn off display?

maybe bug: can´t connect to an "open" network. changed my router to WPA, than it works.

You can change the behavior of red button in Spare Parts (you find it in the drawer)

The 3G is working after tweaking APN settings + the chmod command

Moi aussi je suis en rom flb 1.5, elle fonctionne vraiment bien

Mais j'ai besoin de la 2.2 pour tester les fonctionnalités ActiveSync

Cette ROM 2.2 commence a être bien utilisable... Gros problème pour moi, le market... vraiment inutilisable, sinon le reste à l'air de fonctionner...

Pour l'installer, je suis sous linux... c'est facile avec l'outil fastboot... (avec un backup nandroid avant...)

Because the Pulse have really less RAM. Try swap and you can have multi-tasking.

Dan, Could You add the boot img that was uploaded with a2sd working and swap? I think it was flibblesan in either the dev thred or the kernel thread?

Also, where you have the downloads with the scripts, could you add one for each OS with the edited boot img

Do you mean just with a boot.img in the scripts, or change the whole file to include boot.swapa2sd.img, system.051.img and userdata.img?

Where youve got the whole ROM with the scripts in a download package, like another one of them but with the swap boot img

Windows atm although I almost have a PC with penguin, and if your willig to give me that hardware I can have mac if it makes it easier for y9ou =)

I tried the latest version which I found out about through you on twitter. I tried it but it never installed properly. Remember I messaged you on twiter asking if you got a sucessfull install?

And confirm that what you upload is 0.51?

Try a Leopard one instead of Snow Leopard, Leopard worked perfectly for me...
