Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Only asking b/c my dock is halfway across town ATM, but will docking in a desk dock trigger the HTC Desk Clock? No, I don't THINK so. I replicated this feature in the past using Locale, a dock plugin and an app launcher plugin. P
Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 If I remove all Sense features including Rosie, will I still have a working BT, 720P and FM Radio? Yeah. P
Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Only asking b/c my dock is halfway across town ATM, but will docking in a desk dock trigger the HTC Desk Clock? Just tested on mine, no it doesn't open. If you back in the Google Desk Clock tho, that probably will. P
Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Anyone able to add Hotmail as an ActiveSync client? I was able to do this on my Incredible and on my CM6 install. If you can't using the HTC client, you can bake in the Google client. P

Guest dr3minem Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Will excluding Friendstream cause the endless sync bug? I know that if you manually take it out the zip file with evils port it wont stop syncing. Im gonna try anyways, thanks for this rom!
Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Adding the smooth icon pack tomorrow, without percentage. Kitchen option or default do you think? P
Guest negreenfield Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Adding the smooth icon pack tomorrow, without percentage. Kitchen option or default do you think? P I say default.
Guest Scott Ricketts Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 If you can't using the HTC client, you can bake in the Google client. P That did it. Wonder what the diff is?
Guest tekgurl Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I'm so confused. Do we have 720p video recording? I saw the option in the camera settings. Is it just there because the HTC Desire has 720p recording?
Guest paesan Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Just got done flashing the rom. After using it for 10 minutes I have not had any issues. I installed the NFL Mobile app and the problem with the play icon that was in Evil's Rom is not an issue in this Rom. Is it possible to incorporate a reboot feature in the phone options when pressing the power button. Great work Paul, thanks.
Guest Scott Ricketts Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I have to agree, well worth the wait. Jumped ship from CM6, had to play with moving things to the sdcard to make space but all is well now.
Guest Stea1thmode Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Adding the smooth icon pack tomorrow, without percentage. Kitchen option or default do you think? P I reckon by default, could you also add the calibrator please?

In the interim, install the excellent 'Quick Boot' from the market. It's better anyway, and it gives you options like reboot to recovery. P
Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I reckon by default, could you also add the calibrator please? Hmmm, not sure this is really appropriate for the kitchen. It'd be better as a 'user ingredients' zip. P
Guest ilos Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) just a small feedback : wifi hotspot only work with select a manual channel, no secure connexion EDIT : i don't see : Optional AdFree modified for Desire in the kitchen EDIT 2 : i love MoDaCo Bootanimation  EDIT : a2sd final version does not work Edited September 13, 2010 by ilos
Guest ChrisSpera Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 having issues installing Google Maps 4.5 from the Market after installing this ROM. Paul, the version from the Market should work with this ROM, right?
Guest ilos Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 depends on which version you have chose during your build with the kitchen : 4.5 is already available in the kitchen
Guest yankyjz Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Hey Paul, Don't think I don't appreciate your work! Thank you very much for the update! I'm sure its as awesome as all your roms. Peace & love Ps I appreciate the response via pm as well, thanx
Guest Paul Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 having issues installing Google Maps 4.5 from the Market after installing this ROM. Paul, the version from the Market should work with this ROM, right? 4.5 is preinstalled in the ROM (assuming you select it in the kitchen of course)... P
Guest KaCeX Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) Wow, super awesome ROM, radio works very well and camera looks great now Kudos to Paul I have one question, can the radio be 'hacked' to be turned on without a wired headset? It looks very sleek, its my favorite ROM so far that I've tried. EDIT: Just answering myself here... It really gets weak reception without a wire headset, so probably is a bad idea... Guest jlevy73 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Paul, nice to have you back. I'm sure the wait will be well worth it. Thanks for keeping us lowly N1 users in mind
Guest jlevy73 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I reckon by default, could you also add the calibrator please? hello mate, fancy seeing you here  I agree, the calibrator would be a nice addition indeed
