Wifi "Unable to Scan for Networks"

hello I'm new in the forum and i have problem whit wifi on my acer liquid

My wifi is always turned off, and when i enable it. It turns on for 5 seconds say "unable to scan for networks" and then turns off.

i have changed rom from officiel to custom and tried sevral roms but always the same problem.

if anyone have encounter the same problem before and know how to fix it. it will be great.

some one could tel me what files did you have in the folder " system/etc/wifi " and " data/etc/wifi".

Look like permissions are not ok. Easiest way to fix is to flash again stock and try custom. And do full wipe after that.

i had this same problem, when i updated to new acer froyo leak and tried to restore titanium backup!!

i just didn't restore and it works fine now

my 2 cents

do a full wipe rom and do it 2 or 3 times to be sure (sometimes it just don t wipe in malez recovery ) and DO NOT RESTORE with titanium or nandroid for test

BTW you should post more info about your configuration like exact bin , and rom , flashing method etc...

i have done full wipe and it doesn't work i have tried all the officiel rom and nothing change.now im runnig on this rom " http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-0-0-rc3/" i have intalled it by flashing the bin " 1.100.63" using A Dl tool , then i installed malez recovery and flash the rom from malez recovery. when i enable wifi i get this msg "" application settings( in process com.android.settings) is not responding.
