your rom does nothing of the aforementioned here, i can receive calls, 3G, 2G, swap with a2sd, gapps and the lot.

Something weird is going on here  It's a conspiracy, I tell you!

Hello And how to install applications in this mod??? I can not find file explorer.

Sorry for my english I'm from Belarus

1. Install Google Apps. Use Market

2. use 'adb install' from Android SDK

3. Use Explorers (Astro, ES Explorer etc.)

could it be a problem with the upload or one of the changes you did so it works with the other recovery or something then?

It is more than weird, since I wiped everything before installing this zip, and everything works fine. The only difference is that I didnt flash flb_gapps, but the original FRF91-2 mdpi one.

Flashing the ROM then Gapps results in the issues. Flashing the ROM and booting, then rebooting to install the Gapps, works fine.

I'll get the instructions updated. Thanks for the tips guys.

My gapps are probably a bit bust. I'll replace them.

Instructions updated. Link restored and gapps link changed to the Kanged zips.

Gone back to 1.5. Can't receive calls and holding down the back key was not taking me to the home screen. Speed of ROM was better though.

If you are on 2G then you won't receive a call if the phone is using the data.

That is not really correct. Used to be with CS data (circuit switched) but since we use PS/PD (packet switched/data) signalling will be received that there's an incoming call.

@ flibblesan: i noticed that the rom contains an older a2sd RC2 build, things were hanging, the phone response was slow so i flashed the a2sd 2.7.5 final and things are a LOT smoother now with the same settings: 32Mb swap, 512Mb ext2 and the rest is fat, any reason why or just update it with the latest version for the next upcoming build.

cheers

If we are using swap on the SD card and that cards have a limited number of write/read cycles. Are we effectively "damaging" our SD cards with swap?

If I'm talking nonsense, please tell me.

So far so good with the FROYO-Rom.

Installed ADW (from Market) on my Pulse.

Look to be slower now.

Anybody else installed ADW (or Launcher Pro)?!

I installed Launcher pro seems fine I haven't checked any usage but I haven't had any slow downs I just prefer it because of the custom dock support sort of looks better than ADW's limited amount of themes :/
