Guest lucienium Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Hi everyone! Do we know what registry setting to change to remove SMS messaging from the default Windows messaging program? I'm asking because every time I click the e-mail icon on Samsung today (or on Samsung Widget Plus), I am sometimes taken to the messaging inbox instead of my outlook inbox, which is quite annoying. I saw an "SMSAvailable" key in the registry but changing it to zero only removes SMS from the drop down list of accounts, you can still sometimes end up there instead of your outlook account. Also, changing that to zero seems to cause incoming SMS notification to be deactivated. My friend's Samsung B7300 didn't have SMS Messaging at all in his tmail (but of course, had it in jInbox), unfortunately he's no longer around for me to review his registry settings. Thanks!
