Yep Setcpu shows 122800 hertz but maybe its not correct? Sometimes the tool shows me 19.7mhz as the highest...

Had one reboot in 24 hours with JIT enabled, setCPU 691Mhz when awake and max 318 when asleep, low always set to 122. Rebooted when was stress testing with music, browser, Gtalk, whatsapp

I got great result with my setcpu profile (if screen off my phone set back to 245-528Mhz)! My phone is up since (almost) 3 days without recharging and it still have 40% battery with 4-5 calls a day and checking emails (via wifi for 5 minutes) once a day...

I was never able to use my phone more than 3 days with 1 charging before. I love my phone!

as you may have noticed, in the new version in SetCpu, there is an option to define your very own frequencies with a simple txt file.

my problem is, no matter what i do, i can't go any higher then 691mhz

using cm6 0.20 with the oc kernel and a2sd

do i need a diff kernel that lets me go higher then 691?

there was a flashable zip for flib's 2.2 @780 mhz, anyone still has it around?

is it usable with this or it needs tweaking?

Hi starkos, i attach my acpuclock.c, take a look into it. :)

acpuclock.c.zip

Hi, had a look at your acpuclock file and saw you only did half the necessary changes. I've attached an acpuclock file I just made with clock speeds of max 748.8Mhz. I haven't used it to compile the kernel so I have no idea if it works. Depending how you get on I may try it later. Also remember to get SetCPU to control the clock speeds...

That's good. Post your linpack scores when you have time. Also, if you plan on posting it on the forum somewhere, when making the boot.img I would advise you to use the ramdisk-image from my 691Mhz oc boot.img so the clock won't be set to max as default! :(

do want

how do i apply this? :]

You have to patch that file into the kernel, compile it, create a ramdisk, put it all on a boot.img and then flash it to your phone. It's probably best to ask/wait for someone else to do that

big thanx

the kernel iz okay, shows up to 5.349 in Linpack

EDIT: Damn it, at the max speed available I had a reboot while playing NFS Shift. Now the phone can't even start the Launcher Pro and freezes

So, Nandroid restore...

But perfomance increase was fairly noticeable. I wonder if you could make it stable
