Not that expensive to buy a new battery cover, I found this really quick, but I don't know how hard they are to find in the US.

a new battery should also be available almost everywhere so you should have no difficulty there either.

thanks for the link gunnar, i just want the original battery and back because i ordered the bodyglove case with the kickstand BEFORE i recieved the phone thinking that vzw was gonna send me a completely stock phone. Long story short i ended up getting the omnia 2 with a 2400 mAh battery so it has this huge hump on the back that is very slippery whenever i try to prop the phone up against anything to watch a video.

This is my first extended battery and i can say that compared to my previous winmo phones the difference in battery life is like night and day.

Running Amdzero's DG21 lite rom right now and i can honestly say thati have made it through the work day and still made it home with 100 % battery (setting activesync to manual and locking the phone whenever i put it in my pocket).This was with some facebook flirting by a younger girl, some scrabble being played by another girl, me factchecking through google and txting/phonecalls. I can even leave my phone off the charger at night with anywhere from 0%-2% battery drain if any. With that being said though, i still carry my charger around with me like its my life line just in case.
