Guest umair9001 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) Rom is nice and usable with a task killer.. May be if we overclock to 960mhz or 1ghz, it will be a better improvement. Edited September 23, 2010 by umair9001
Guest Apocangel Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Which is the difference between your methods of rooting and the piter image boot.img to root Malez ? If you root by Malez recovery you will be able to use all superboot applications but will NOT be able to access the phone's Superboot options from your PC such as remount which means you wont be able to push anything into any folder in your /system partition.
Guest L0cu7us Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 i'm unable to find 'pure calendar' on market, is it locked or is a market problem ? (pure grid calendar is found, but not what i'm search for)
Guest astuermer Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 For me the following is not working... *Market 2.2 unlock will be processed, but after several tries no access to locked apps. *Email sync doesn't work.
Guest Piti8576 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 For me the following is not working... *Market 2.2 unlock will be processed, but after several tries no access to locked apps. Same here. I have testet unlocked 2.2 and unlocked auto and can't see locked apps (e.g. PayPal).
Guest lvcargnini Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 it is my impression of the battery now is not lasting as much as in leak 0.007 ? My battery in less than 2 hours is in 55%.
Guest Andy__P Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 no it's good. mine is 86% after 11 hours of moderate use
Guest astuermer Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 I've got 88% after 5,5 hours of use: approx. 20 Minutes phoning 2 SMS 4 mailboxes collected each hours (one of them eah 30 minutes) Facebook and Twitter refresh each hour All with setting "only 3G" because I live in a poor 3G coverage - so switching between 2G and 3G consumes more power.
Guest m106 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) Same here. I have testet unlocked 2.2 and unlocked auto and can't see locked apps (e.g. PayPal). I'm always using unlock 2.1 and it works perfect for me! Edited September 23, 2010 by m106
Guest eletreby Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 thanks alot for the new Rom i will try it but ... Does this ROm support Arabic language??? really we need leaked froyo ROM for arabic support thanks again;
Guest progik Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) eletreby No, there is only German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Netherlands, Portuguese and Russian. Edited September 23, 2010 by progik
Guest mmick Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Why is the LCR "Froyo" taking so long? I´m "desperate" to have this ROM clean... I have the first leak and I´m truly happy but it definitely needs LCR / LS / other good cleaning cooker touch (as any other Acer ROM). I tried to delete some Acer garbage but what a final user can delete is too little and Acer ROMs eat to much precious flash and too much garbage on RAM too.
Guest KeruDoitsu Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 I'm waiting CyanogenMod v1.2 instead *---*
Guest TheShak Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the NEW Rom Liquid_User. Just to recap for all those who can't be asked to read the previous "Froyo Leak 0.007.00" James Bond version. 1. Installed .bin using D/L tool 2. Installed Malez 0.6 (using script method) - Cheers Malez! 2.1 Did Nandroid backup 3. Installed SuperUser from Market (this failed to update properly), then got the file su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=682828 - Thanks to ChainDD! 4. Checked with Malez Recovery to ensure system is Rooted and it was... 5. Installed Titanium Backup from Market - Thanks to Joel Bourquard! So it's rooted and and you can get rid of the stuff you don't need or want... for a complete list see this link from the earlier post http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1400120 I don't think I'll ever want to go back to Cupcake, Donuts, or Eclairs... on Frozen Yoghurt... waiting for Ginger Bread... p.s. if dont want to mess around with all the above then try Alan090 Rom for Froyo - http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1401693, after you've put on the Recovery, he's saved you alot of the work. Great stuff, thanks. I hope this helps Edit: Forgot to say, when you run Titanium first time, press Problems? button and install latest BusyBox... Edited September 23, 2010 by TheShak
Guest uzirox Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 "Froyo Leak 0.007.00" James Bond version. lmao
Guest Piti8576 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Here i have a 2.2 Unlock build.prop for the Market problem. Push it to /system and have fun. Remove the .txt before  build.prop.txt
Guest Smallville CK Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) no it's good. mine is 86% after 11 hours of moderate use Mine is 86% after 5 hours...in standby! No wifi, no data, no sync, no gps, only 2g :) It happened even with 0.007 leak. I have only launcher pro, extended controls, system info widget, calendar and ebobirthday! Edited September 23, 2010 by Smallville CK

The new Facebook 1.3.x app preloads preview pictures while running in the background. That's why I'm either not log in or - what I prefer - delete it with Titanium and install Facebook 1.2.
Guest Nesli Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Big thanks to Liquid_user for this leak  ..But, it seems to be slower (and laggy) than 07.00...:)
Guest Rajit Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Ok, could anyone of you comment on the smootheness of acer ui as compared to the previous leak??? I'm currently using a combination of acer ui (lockscreen) and adw launcher, and i must say that i really like a LOT of things about it (apart from the lagginess). I just wish someone could make that satus bar go on top!!!

Guest noeyesee1 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Why is that when I run About phone->device Info I get /proc/srs0 not exists? Also why is that when I use market to search things, the speed is so slow? and when I click on something to download, I have to wait so long on loading to the next page where the install button is so that I can start to download?
Guest Pullaah Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 So, whats the difference between 0.700 and this?
