keyboard cursor keys

A problem that I have for a long time: I miss cursor keys on the Samsung keypad. Those on the Windows-keypad are not the solution (too small, switching too slow). How can I get the 4 arrows on the keypad (Home/End would also be nice) - possibly as a part of the "SYM" keyboard? Also important: the German "Umlaute" (äöüß) must not be moved/replaced. I tried a few fingerkeyboard cabs and as twice as many reboots but all failed to install.

I would have suggested fingerkeyboard, but since you have had no luck with it you can checkout this thread:

Try to check Swype for WM. Works great on i8000 and has cursor keys.

sounds good, but I didn't find a german version. The english version doesn't work on my phone.

Until I find something better I use the small vdpad.
