Patch : Samsung Today + High Power CPU mode

This patch want fix the incomprehensible decision of Samsung to FORCE the processor power to "Auto" when "Samsung Today" is active.

Why ??? Is this an attempted suicide ??? Can I prefer the maximum power ???

In that case ( this patch avoids that the system changes your processor power setting ) :

What you've been doing is a great job, really appreciated :lol:

I just created a cab file which I tested on wm6.1, (someone may needs)

PS: SamsungToday needs Samsung Clock, Samsung Dialer and may be more samsung stuff under \windows folder

Thanks alot ...I thought its so easy but it is NOT :lol: I have tried the patch from the first post and also the cab from post 5 but no luck....what I did after installing the patch and after soft reset is to go to samsung setting and tick spb weather and samsung today but did not work....Iam using the Official JH1.....

I am sorry abdelrahim, but this patch permits to have simultaneously active the "Samsung Today" + other plugins

only if you make this setting by the STANDARD Microsoft "Settings -> Today -> Items" tab ( like you can see in previous pic ).

Moreover, you can see another running plugin only outside the area ( 480x696 pixels ) regularly used by "Samsung Today".

I have tried to restrict the area occupied by "Samsung Today" but the released area is not refreshed and updated :lol: .

Thanks again...will give it a try again... I know there is a way to keep microsoft setting as defult or to override samsung setting.... I dont know why Samsung wont add weather in Samsung today by default???

Is patch for Samsung Today work only for WM 6.1? I have tried it on 6.5 it doesn't work :lol:

:lol: Managed to tick both Samsung Today and Spb weather using microsoft setting ....but cant keep microsoft setting as defaullt in Today screen by using the registry fix ( although other setting is changed to microsoft)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\ amd change Value 'HideSettings' to '0' (credits to rodrigofd)

Hi sccpgt,

you must consider that this is only 1 dll patch, it's not the full "SamsungToday",

and if you are using a cooked ROM, "SamsungToday" may have been removed.

In that case you can try the cab posted by sinancetinkaya in post #5;

if you have some problem I can make a new cab. :huh:
