Guest crazy beautiful Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) I have an OMnia 16Gb 1st generation. I'm from the Philippines. Last week I downloaded two custom ROMs ( Hakim and Magawa ). I downloaded and run the xp drivers since i am using a windows xp OS. I wasn't able to check on the version of my Omnia. I run the Hakim rom first and the eboot download did get stucked on a certain percentage. I poked the reset button hole and then the omnia loads upto the Omnia Logo Screen. 1. Used Grandprix, updated with DXHH3 parts (eboot, pda, csc, phone.bin) and it successfully ended but when restarted and did hardreset, it still goes upto the Omnia Logo Screen 2. Tried using Wincontrol to show the EMERGENCY ONLY checkbox on the DXIA5update.exe from samsung website. It downloaded all five files. At the 5th file it showed 100% download. Nothing is happening from then so i waited for 10minutes and restarted the phone. The omnia is still at the Samsung Logo screen. Hard reset again. Still the same. Still stucked at the Samsung Omnia logo. 3. Tried to flash it with DXHK1 and it finished successfully but still stucked at the Omnia Logo. Did hard reset but still stucked at the omnia logo. 4. Now using grandprix, my omnia cannot be detected. Can somebody help? Does my phone need replacement of the hardware parts? I've read in the forums that while the logo is still present, it can still be recoverable. But in my case, it can't be detected by grandprix too. What should I do? Edited October 31, 2010 by crazy beautiful

Guest adhip Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 (edited) This steps worked for me before : - Power On your Omnia (Samsung logo appear) - connect your i900 to Win XP using usb cable - Run any Updater (standard or custom will do) - it won't detect the phone yet - Use the pen stylus to reset the phone by punching the reset hole next to power button - It will reset and go to Samsung logo again - but now it detected by the updater - Start the updater Hope it works on yours too... Guest crazy beautiful Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 did u try canging your USB cable tht u r currently using to connect your mobile and pc?? yes i did. When i first did the flashing, i used a cable that i bought from ebay (not the original one). Then i bought a samsung cable and tried it but then the phone does not get detected by grandprix.
