I thought It was time to give this port a separate thread so it would be easier to find. Lets keep the discussion about this rom here from now on.

This port was originally created by Vache, then bit modified by me (fixed wifi+bluetooth, updating to new versions as they get released). Phh should also have a beer because without his excellent kernel it would not be as easy

Video of the rom with default home installed (v0.6):

Video of the rom with default home installed (v0.3):

Video of the rom with launcher pro installed (v0.2):

You can find the original thread here for history

Sometimes I do need to eat some candy B) paypal here

V0.7 (Based off MIUI 11.05)

Miui team Updates: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=318694&view=findpost&p=1464933

Fixed facebook sync :)

Thanks for doeodex and translation from the nice guys at #MIUI (on frenode)
V0.6 (Based off MIUI 10.29)
Only in Chinese for now (possible to flash language packs ontop as they get released)

New updates from MIUI team, translated update list found here, http://android.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=318694&view=findpost&p=1457958 (thanks Pirania)

No vibrate kernel by default (since it won the poll, you can still change to the vibrate version download below)

Many thanks to n_i_x and MarkHUK on #MIUI @ freenode for their fast odex release and being awesome :)

(change language button during setup guide seems to not work for me, but you can change to english locale using the locale app once getting past the setup)

Added new demo video :)
V0.5 (Based off MIUI 10.22)
Only in Chinese for now (possible to flash language packs ontop as they get released)

New updates from MIUI team, http://miui.com/thread-2390-1-1.html (although their hardware fixes are not for liquid)

I have now included my own kernel (compiled from phh source)

Added updated frequency/voltage table from Xian

Enabled vibration for search, home, etc...

Removed phh TS patch (sorry phh, but as you have said this is pretty much useless :P, I find it to give more problems just)

This should fix the sensitivity(unresponsive) problem people have been having at the bottom of the screen

(I will provide with and without vibration version of my kernel, and a update.zip for people who wants to run phh boot.img)
V0.4 (Based off MIUI 10.15)
(possible to flash language packs ontop as they get released)

Finally managed to fix logcat

updated some rendering libaries

added DSP manager from cyanogenmod

Removed maps(download from market instead)
V0.3.1 (Based off MIUI 9.30)
The MIUI team released emergency update to remove the bootup sound (I already removed it myself in v0.3, I realize it would be annoying :P)

They also added a small fix for the Launcher application (Some bug with scrolling between screens, I have not seen it myself)

Included some other applications just to get updated english translation in them

This update needs no wipe, just flash on top of v0.3 (english or chinese, works on top of both)

And for people in China, enjoy your holiday!~
V0.3 (Based off MIUI 9.29)
Updated to the latest version 9.29 and included english translation

for more information on what is new, http://miui.com/thread-1561-1-1.html

Removed bootup sound since it is loud and annoying in case phone reboots.

Moved some applications like maps and gmail to data partition for easy uninstall if people want to do that (requested)

Uploading 2 version, one with english as default language and one with chinese (requested)

I wanted to release this in time for chinese national day (oct 1) Enjoy!~
V0.2(Based off MIUI 9.24)
Camera for photos

Wifi

3G - data and calling

2G

Bluetooth (but hard to pair/connect)

Included english translation

Market included, and other Google apps like maps and youtube

Default language changed to English

Led lights (thanks phh!)

Uses phh Kernel so overclock is working! (thanks phh!)

Included spareparts

Included HTC_MOD and stock android 2.2 keyboard.

Not working: (for latest version)

Camcorder

Light sensor

Proximity sensor

Install guide:

Flash using malez recovery (no sign check)

BACKUP before flashing.

wipe dalvik, data and cache before flashing. ( malez 0.6 wipe all menu option seems to not be working, so manually choose dalvik and data/cache from their separate menu options)

as always on your own risk, I can not provide any guarantee

Enjoy!

Well, I'm using your version and everithing works fine, I haven't tried well bluetooth, but it turns on, I only need italian language and haptic feedback. Did you see quadrant and linpack results I've posted before? quadrant 1048 and linpack 33.968 with 998oc, not bad

How can be new translation added?

Maybe it is worth to post the language files so that they can be translated fast by the community?

I would tranlsate if I knew how to retreive and repack the languages...

How u set up clock speed for CPU? There's something built-in or the classic SetCPU?

You can find a translation project here, http://crowdin.net/project/miui-rom-translation/

there might be others also.

I expressed myself badly, I meant, and if you try to use the kernel of leaked?

It probably would not work, since acer use different prelinking (2G VMSPLIT)

yes, use the classic SetCPU found on XDA. I have no idea why it reboots for you, 998 mhz is working very well for me, sorry. Someone else here might have an idea.

I have noticed this also, the sync option is gone from facebook menu, but it works in twitter. Maybe facebook has removed syncing from their app?

*oops*

I should have edited my other post instead, my bad...

Please, take a miracle by running the proximity sensor .... please ... B)

You can manually turn off the screen by using powerbutton, and turn it on after the call is done in the same way. We will see what we can do about the proximity sensor, but for now I think that is a good workaround.

so... what about the CPU icon in the notification bar? What's it mean to be?

EDIT:

@920 mhz seem more stable. I was able to run linkpack but after 30 sec of Fruit Ninja i got a reboot  maybe my CPU is not so good at all like other liquid

i also got the rom now and got some time for testing. the non-existence of the app-drawer is a little bit confusing in the begining, but i just made my own, using a folder. i have no problems regarding gmail or the market, but i did manual wipe using malez. im very satisfied with this rom till now, but im gonna put some eyes on the battery consumption not quite sure if this apropriate for my needs
