Display wakes up after locking

Hi,

I see a stranger behaviour on my i8000, Whenever i try to lock my mobile (with the lock button on the side) the device gets locked and display goes off, but with in seconds display gets on again.

Does any of you faced and overcome this kind of issue.

Any advice or help is appreciated.
