Guest jurrasstoil Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 Best Keyboard available imo. thanks for sharing. Tried almost all available keyboards and the htc was the fastest by far. The word prediction is amazing. Swype is a bit faster, but typing words it doesn't recognize is a huge pain, so the HTC is far ahead in the overall performance.
Guest screamer1888 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) after installing this, i've restarted the phone, ticked in keyboards, long pressed in an input box, but the box that pops up in now blank? i've to guess which one is which, so i've got the keyboard working, but it looks like all the pop up boxes are now blank Edited January 12, 2011 by screamer1888

Guest lee89b Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I've been using this keyboard for the past one week and loving it, one problem with me is that custom settings that I made wouldn't be saved, i.e. when a relaunch of the keyboard is needed, I'll go to "kill keyboard", but the settings won't be applied and gone instead. The only way i could load custom settings is by 1. exporting the settings, disable HTC_IME, 2. go to HTC_IME mod again and kill keyboard. 3. Then go to any text box, choose a different keyboard, 4. re-enable the Htc keyboard, 5. go to text box and select htc keyboard. It works fine but I found it's a hassle to do it every time after a reboot. How can I "force' the keyboard to apply the custom settings automatically every time? Using default orange rom 2.1 tft Cheers.

Guest FelixL Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 Does anybody know what was needed to port this app over to a new device? I know somebody that needs a working HTC-Cime, thats with handwriting input for chinese letters. It was also requested here: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...cime-for-blade/
Guest geegeethatsme Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 I have the same problem, running Swedish Spring RLS5. That's interesting. I'm on SS5 too and the dictionary works fine. If anything it's too good as it saves everything not in the main dictionary to the user version, including typos if I'm not paying attention to what's going into the text input box. I review the user dictionary every so often and weed out the unneeded entries.
