Finally got round to tidying mine up, after filling it with apps and a mixed up mess of widgets.

Wallpaper courtesy of randal24, earlier in the thread. Thanks, it looks good.

Widgets are Widgetsoid2.x nicely customisable, plenty of switch options, best of all, it's free.

Launcherpro.

The other screens are, naturally, filled with all sorts of stuff and spoil the aesthetics!

Yepp, OLED with mostly black, but I have other ways to drain battery :)

Functionalities? Does the icon change to reflect notification once there is an update? Unread tweets with the bird smiling? It would be a nice touch if that was the case.

FYI, I tried one free launcher called "Windows Phone Android" but further features are included in the paid version. The tiles in there are very smooth and customisable too :(

Have you tried switching off the background transparency under LPro? "No widget background" or what it's called caused problems for me too :S

ive also experienced it but i used to get it in pauls gingerbread laucher and the stock launcher.

the other day i flashed my rom and then the shadows just dissappeared so i dont think its a problem with LP or ADW, i think it may just be fancy widget
