Market link here: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.j...ysteminfowidget Found the Xperia Play's PSP XMB background, so I decided to do this: Surprisingly this live wallpaper has no lag at all, think I'll keep it. Guest swisstourist Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 well, in my point of view, it s a waste of time to install/look,updade themes. a phone must be used to call, send email, take pictures... not playing around to install widgets and all these fancy useless gadgets (like moon). then many complain because their battery can not hold 1 day and they don't even know why!!! oh well, i am not 17yo anymore! :)

B) My launcher uses 2% of the battery and widget applications don't even show. And If that's what you want a phone for i'd reccomend the Samsung e250. Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 I decided on making a more basic screen: Adw launcher and Minimalistic text. How do you get different fonts on the phone?
Guest Nuuna Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 How do you get different fonts on the phone? Bang!
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 Bang! Thanks ALOT! Would that change the font on the whole phone or just the lockscreen?
Guest slitz Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 well, in my point of view, it s a waste of time to install/look,updade themes. a phone must be used to call, send email, take pictures... not playing around to install widgets and all these fancy useless gadgets (like moon). then many complain because their battery can not hold 1 day and they don't even know why!!! oh well, i am not 17yo anymore! :) And this is exactly why I only have two home screens, one with the common programs I use and the other with a calendar. That little fancy widget I keep at the top is useful to tell me the ram I've used without wasting more opening up anything to tell me. But if you have an OLED device a darker theme will benefit your battery and your screen, but since I have TFT I can use any coloured theme and not care as they all take up the same amount of battery and the burn in is not as fast as on any OLED screen. Even if my screen did get burn in, it's not hard to get a TFT OSF these days. Trying to keep the icons and widgets on my screen to the minimum so I don't waste too much RAM and drain the battery faster than I should.

Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 How the HECK did you make that?! I NEED Instructions plus resources :) Erm, Im short: Gimp+torn paper plugin Adw (the free one :L) Minimalistic text Transparent buttons Font Changer + Urban sketch font I just got a load of images off Google, knocked them together in to make a background, overlayed the right widgets in the right places and used overlapping transparent shortcuts to open the app corresponding to the image.. (if that made any sense :L)
