GT-I8000 failed to flash

Dear expert,

I am trying to assist my friend to flash new rom for his i8000, i don't know what goes wrong, we both using the same samsung gt-8000, however, i could flashed new phone, and his phone is failed to do so, although his phone is connected to the computer and the computer driver is working fine for my phone set, yet the octans is not able to detectd his phone for a long time.

After that, i was unplug and plug it back the usb cable, the octans appears new line "OnDeviceChange \\" and WINUSB_Initialize prompted, after you have click the "ok", octans appeared error...

When you connect the phone is it switched off?

Do you use Win 7?

If yes have you start it with "Not checking for programs..." from F8 menu?

Have you install the right Samsung drivers?

More information when you post giving you more answers...

BTW I'm NOT expert :lol:

I think, you forget to set compatibiity to Windows XP in OCTANS property.
