Removing "taskbaroverlay" in custom roms

More and more cooks are cooking this taskbar overlay in there roms...

Is it possible to deactivate/remove the overlaybar on the taskbar, on the top where the "Soundprofile, the Time and the Powericons" are in a custom rom via Registry/Process deactivation/removing some files :lol:

Because its annoyoing when i want to use the "\" or the ".." command in Total Commander B) It always pops up, when it should not^^

Am I the only one who has problems with his stubby fingers? :-D

I would also like to be able to disable that.

a tip for the stubby fingered is that from version 2.52 beta 3 you can set Total commander in finger friendly mode which causes the \ button etc to be moved a couple of pixels down.
