Guest badfly Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 If that is the case, don't use the tar command, just dump the folders in the SD card and zip it once you copy it in your PC. I have used the adb pull commands copy the /system file to PC, then tar the files
Guest tmobilepulse Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I have used the adb pull commands copy the /system file to PC, then tar the files that is perfect. you can pm paul and tell him. he may be back tomorrow. :)

Guest Simon O Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Please, don't attempt to flash these to your phone until Paul at least has taken a look at these. Don't want anybody to end up with a bricked phone.
Guest tmobilepulse Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 v880 2.2 rom system.tar.gz boot-dump.img recovery-dump.img Feel Free to mirror USE AT YOUR OWN RISK cheers, friend! faster than me
Guest Blake Loring Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Flashing the system image can't brick the phone. On a side note making sure that when I install the sytem image the files have correct permissions is gohna be a pain Edit: Well it could if it included a executable that wiped the bootloader... but its very unlikely to. Guest fradleyp Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 will Paul just test this rom or will he make his own version of it?
Guest vl4d1m1r Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I wonder if, now that the ROM is in the wild, ZTE could be persuaded to release the kernel source for this version prematurely.
Guest Simon O Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 will Paul just test this rom or will he make his own version of it? Not sure but Paul isn't able to do anything with this until tomorrow.
Guest fradleyp Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Not sure but Paul isn't able to do anything with this until tomorrow. At least I don't have to live in hope anymore, will wait till the man has had a look
