To be honest it would be quicker and easier if we just try and build a working 2.6.32.9 kernel for the blade, possibly using an existing kernel from the Legend as a base.

I have another reason for asking the question.

a question. after the command, what result should i tell you?

I think that his blade does not have a procfs, even though this shouldn't be possible :)

cd / and ls returns 'DEV' and 'ROOT' only, where ROOT is just a symlink to /.

cat /proc/mtd returns the partition table and mount points.

Best regards,

BB

Would be a fair amount of work but should be entirely possible to port given the released source code.

However, it indicates that ZTE are working on 2.2 for a VERY similar phone, and thus, if they cared to, at some future time ZTE could easily release a 2.2 that would run on the version of the Blade that we call San Francisco ...

Or am I being an optimistic fool?

The pessimist in me says that 2.2 might let them get away with installing less RAM than we have, and their interest would therefore be about production economies, rather than upgrading ...

I spoke to my friend in the technical support team, he said that he isn't supposed to say, but Orange are working on a Froyo update for the San Francisco.

If he's in the call centre then I don't believe that he would know. If he's further up, maybe. But either way it would be ZTE doing the development, Orange's involvement would surely be to help localise and ******ise it.

Could someone please help me?

I want to sync the facebook app, but this does not work on settings. It just goes back to the accounts and sync screen when I click on facebook.
