overclocking the san?

Slightly OT: how much overclocking can you expect from the MSM7227 in the Blade? Of course every chip is different, but how far can you usually go? What max clock can a "bad" chip handle, what is the max of clock-happy chips?

I am totally new here, planning to install CM 7.0.3 in my Blade (Dell XCD35 in India). So can anyone tell me will it support OC as I really want to experiment with this amazing device..

not if you just use it daily

if you do, dont overclock it!!

it'll just waste battery

overclocking is useful for like gamers or heavy users who need to use the processor a lot

@ HMZX

I use the phone daily, but I'm find that when I use Copilot satnav it runs the CPU close to 100%.

Would overclocking help that? If so, would it best to bump it up in small increments in order to find a balance?

BTW, after about an hour of using the satnav, I get an error saying the sd card has dismounted; the phone then crashes and reboots

Thanks,

Bill
