Guest johncal Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I thought this might be a good place to post custom widgets as I find that the Widget store ones are pretty useless as a whole. Here's the digital clock I have. Change .zip to .wgt and install to microsd card. File explore and click on file. It will install and show up in widget bar.WidgetClock05.zip
Guest Corki2 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I love the look, but I can't get it to install. I'm sure it's my error. First, I download your file. Then I rename it "WidgetClock05.wgt" and then I copy it to my SD card and click on it. It opens up and shows a bunch of files "Css, en, images, etc." Nothing executable. When you say "install to SD card" what is the process for that?

Guest Corki2 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Somehow this post showed up 3 times. I only posted once. I don't see a way to delete the excess posts. Sorry! Edited October 1, 2010 by Corki2

Try installing the file to the widget folder in "my storage" then click on it and see if that works for you. After you click on it, it should say "widget installed". Edited October 1, 2010 by johncal
Guest mdkpnj Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Is there a widget or a way to get the favorite people and favorite apps widgetsa to go four accross, rather than in rows of three? I think that woukd be a better use of real-estate.

Can't change the one on the i920, but perhaps someone would be kind enough to post one from one of the other Samsungs where I've seen it go further accross.
Guest mdkpnj Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Is there a way to have the favorite apps or favorite people disply 4 accross rather then 3? With fours cccross you can have both on one screen, 3 accross uses to much real estate to have both and have it look nice.
