Guest flash2004 Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Just wondering if Wi-fi tether (with infrastructure mode) is possible on my SF. Good bye to data cards and USB dongles if that is the case

Guest flash2004 Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Barnacle works fine. Yes, I am using it right now, but it creates an ad-hoc network. I am talking about a proper infrastructure mode (which your wi-fi router generates) wi-fi tether supports it for some devices.

I need to be able to tether but not in ad-hoc mode as my android tablet flat refuses to even see ad-hoc networks. Anyone got any suggestions or even an appropriate app with this feature?
Guest flash2004 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Somebody needs to port this to SF
