Trying to build a spreadsheet for my daughter to make sure she is taking her daily lupus drugs.

The App Inventor java tool can not recognised my phone, despite all efforts exerted under an XP and W7 environment.

I am a "noobie", and this will be my first attempt to design an app if I manage to get the connection with the phone working.

Your thoughts are most welcomed.

An app is an idea, bu just wanted to pitch the idea of recurring events in Google Calendar?

You need the windows 7 drivers for the phone and the android SDK installed (the application adb to be in your path). Look around this forum for the drivers and go to developer.android.com for the SDK. I had no trouble using the app inventor using my existing installation of both
