The whole reason that I brought a desire was that it wasn't an iPhone, but it's nice to see the modding seen creating something for everyone ;)

+1 just n case people think I'm on an iPhone bashing trip with my comments...heaven forbid :)

For this and other non-Sense ROMs, is that any advice on restoring Titanium Backups? Do I just flash the rom and then do a restore all?

I've been using adw since I got my phone but am currently back on Sense, having realised just how good it is. Although I don't understand the relevance of your points to this post???

Hey, I never said it was a bad ROM did I?! Just that I don't want my phone to look like an iPhone as it isn't one nor do I want one! Chill bro!

As for battery, glad to hear it, today is the first day I've not had to charge during the day, go Alex-V ;)

I know Sense is hard to quit :)

However, my post was to enlighten you on this rom. The goal of this rom is to have something new. Up until now we had 2 choices: Cyanogen & Sense. Well now we have something new.

What I want to say is try the rom before judging it, but you 100% entitled to your opinion in the end.

Hmm ... the video looks pretty cool, but the reality much less so. com.google.process.gapps crashes whenever trying to install apps!

As for he whole 'iphone look' lets be honest you could put the Desire gubbings inside an iphone4 case, theme it with this ... and in about 5 seconds you would know damn well it was not an iphone ... and vise-versa :)

I am just trying this out of curiosity .. I have R9 resting happily in nandroid ;)

An hour and a half just trying to get the Market to work properly .. only for it to cease functioning at all .. will wait some months and try again ... bravo nandroid my trusty friend :(

I concur, hey at the rate I'm going with messing with ROM's considering I've only had my Desire since July and rooted in Sep, I will probably end up trying this out v soon just because I ca,n even though I still think basing a ROM on the competition is a little strange :)

rom has been mod for Acer Liquid and also Nexus one ................. i just put it out there to give fellow flash a holics something new to play with. the concept isn't new but the genuis at work here is very admirable. this is by no means a theme but fully customised mod based on Cyan 6.0. this is still going strong on my desire and making rounds on Nexus one so happy days. its there to enjoy or not whichever or whatever. don't really care much with negs as its just another thing!

I've been running this for a day and quite like it as my first non-Sense rom, enough to keep it running for a while.

However I'm still not sure what differences there are apart from the unique launcher (which I do like). What else is different that makes this a ROM rather than just another launcher?
