Notification Tone for SMS/Email

Hi,

I've just got a San Francisco unlocked and running the v2 MoDaCo ROm on O2 UK.

I'm very impressed (apart from the speaker phone performance which is dreadful !).

I've searched the forums but I can not find an answer, to whether It is possible to have different notification tones for SMS and e-mail arrival.

Can somebody tell me if this is possible on the SF ?

It is possible.

Settings --> Sound and display --> Notification Ringtone.

I just discovered that it is possible to have different alert tone for incoming SMS and e-mails. To select a SMS tone you just select "settings" when you are in the messaging (SMS) menu. E-mail alerts are under notifications. (Settings --> Sound and display --> Notification Ringtone)

If you don't want to use a stock track then i suggest downloading "Ringdroid" then edit, save and set as the default notification

No way ideal but it's nice to have your own tone :)
