Guest Sebastian404 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I've found the best way to be sure it is to use the Stock image from This Thread and ADB. first off put the SD into your PC and delete all the contents from there, then copy the mcri-system-stock-OUK_P729BV1.0.0B05.tar.gz file into the root. put the SD Card back into the phone, and boot into recovery mode (hold down Volume UP), then using fastboot type the following fastboot erase system fastboot erase userdata fastboot erase cache fastboot erase persist fastboot write boot boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r2.img fastboot reboot[/code] That should clear out everything you've done to the phone and return it very close to factory settings.

Guest Sebastian404 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 (edited) would I be able to try and root it again after this ?? that last step.. where you flash the boot image ... that will automatically root it when it boots up.. # Download r2 Superboot / MCRi for ZTE Blade - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid Load Balancing) - MD5: 23bc7f6ad183e7e433d06953445ff1ab # Download Stock system image (OUK_P729BV1.0.0B05) copy to SD card as mcri-system.tar.gz : DOWNLOAD (ROMraid Load Balancing) - MD5: bd8aba16c9cb2e358dc093cb4450900b # Download fastboot if you do not have it already. It will take a while to reboot, dont worry just leave it for 5/10 minutes at most Edited June 3, 2011 by Paul
Guest acolwill Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 I've had issues with the SD card as well. Not in the OSF, but after moving it to my Hero. I decided to fully trash it and repartition (for A2SD). After restoring my nandroid, the phone went absolutely apeshit. Firstboot was a failure, no apps whatsoever (it refused to setup the symlinks for /data/app, etc). Secondboot was even worse, Hero was stuck in a bootloop. Swapped the SD out for my Goldcard. Repartitioned identically, restored nandroid, Hero works perfectly :| I would strongly suggest repartitioning the new card you've put into your OSF and retrying the operation... Either that, or try: http://www.appbrain.com/app/websharinglite...tapp.websharing http://www.appbrain.com/app/on-air-(wifi-disk)/com.bw.onair http://www.appbrain.com/app/wifi-file-expl...iFiFileExplorer
