Obviously not for phone calls and 3g, but does Android function as normal otherwise or does it lock up/complain constantly? I'd be interested in using one just via wifi. Guest sid4 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 I've had mine for a week and still havnt put a sim in it yet! When it had the orange firmware in it, the email application wouldnt work without inserting a sim, but since I flashed itwith Pauls rom, everything works perfectly. even the GPS, which I use without Network positioning method get a lock pretty quickly.
